Is This You?

You’re having a really tough time right now and you can’t talk to your parents about it.

And your friends are no help either.

Let’s face it. Your high school years felt challenging before – trying to get good grades, plan for college, navigate dynamics on Tik Tok and Snapchat – but now you throw COVID and this global pandemic into the mix and things feel beyond hard.

You’re struggling to turn in your homework on time, you feel yourself withdrawing, you’re having thoughts that scare you a little bit.

You don’t know exactly what’s wrong and you don’t know how to fix things. Your normal “self-care tools” don’t seem to be working. You don’t really want to talk to your parents or friends about things.

If this sounds like you – even a little – then it might be time for therapy.

Being a teenager is HARD. Being a teenager during a global pandemic is beyond hard.

What Our Teen Therapy Offers:

By working with a therapist at Evergreen, you will have a safe, confidential, and supportive space to work through the issues that are making you anxious, sad, or even depressed.

With teen therapy, you’ll have someone whose job it is to help you feel better and more capable of dealing with it all.

While we do need your parents’ permission to start counseling with you if you’re under 18, you will have privacy and a therapist who’s sole job is to help you figure out what’s going on and help you feel better.

We’ll work with your parents to talk through the finances, the forms they need to complete, and answer all those other logistical questions.

Relief From Anxiety, Depression, Stress, And More

Though teen therapy doesn’t come with guaranteed results, by working with an Evergreen Counselor we can possibly help you:

  • Learn to manage the anxiety that school, the pandemic, and your social life is causing;
  • Help you address that general sadness and/or numbness you seem to feel each day;
  • Figure out what those scary thoughts mean and how to change them;
  • Find new coping skills for dealing with test, performance, or social anxiety;
  • Help you get clearer on what path you may want to pursue in college or post-graduation;
  • Develop new tools for more effectively dealing with your parents and siblings and life at home right now.

The Next Steps for Teen Therapy:

Truly, beginning therapy can have a profound and transformative impact on nearly every aspect of your life.
