Online Therapy in California
Why Choose Online Therapy?
In light of COVID-19 and all the tumult going on in the world right now, Evergreen Counseling is still committed to supporting you and your mental health through these trying times.
Whether you’re looking to continue therapy or start therapy for the first time, we have HIPAA-compliant video software and are able to work with you from the comfort and safety of your home.
In these times, tending to your mental health is more important than ever and we can help you do that even with quarantines and shelter-in-place in action.
How Does Online Therapy Work?
It’s easy! You simply reach out to us by text, phone, or email or you can book a consult call here and we can assess your situation and help you get lined up with the best-fitting therapist for you based on clinical and relational fit and logistical fit (your preferred day, time, etc.).
And, if you know which therapist you want to work with, you can book a session directly with them here.
As soon as we book your first session, in addition to all your intake paperwork you’ll also receive instructions about how to access the secure, HIPAA-compliant video counseling platform we use and what to do before your first video session in order to meet with your therapist.
Talk to Someone Online:
An online video counseling session lasts 50 minutes, just like a standard therapy session, and you’ll be able to see and hear and experience your therapist like you’re on a high-quality Skype call (but we don’t use Skype, we use secure medical video software).
You’ll meet regularly with your therapist on the day and time you that two decide on and receive the support you need.
If you have more questions about online video counseling, we encourage you to check out our FAQ page where we list some common questions and answers about online video counseling.
